US: With roots in wildland fire, we're a newish small business with room to grow (pardon the pun). We provide tree pruning and trimming, specific pesticides and fertilizers, hazard tree work and full removals, pest identification and arborist support. We're a tree care company that performs as little removals as possible and we do what we can to keep the trees that are here, around. YOU: Must be safe and reliable. You must be able to obtain and maintain your pesticide applicator license. You must be physically able to handle up to ten hours a day of manual labor. You must be able to perform moderately strenuous tasks while wearing PPE. You're willing to take on new skills and are attentive to details. We are currently looking for someone to start part time, Monday through Thursday with a good chance of becoming full time within a couple months. We offer health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and regular bonuses. Primary job consists of trunk injections with pesticides and micro-nutrients, soil injections with pesticides and fertilizers, and some bark scraping with an organic hand bottle sprayer. We don't do any spraying except for the little hand bottle. In addition to those treatments you would perform Airspade work for Root Crown Excavations, vertical mulching, and radial mulching. Your secondary job would be assisting the tree pruning crew with their assignments of trimming, removals, and chipping. This requires experience with heavy lifting, use of sharp tools, safe use of chainsaws, tying knots, raking, sweeping, taking directions, and asking questions. Starting pay is $18/hour with no experience. Quick pay raises as you show competence, safe working habits, punctuality, and initiative.
