Description
Javva has long fur with torbie coloration. She is the sweetest, most loving cat I have ever met!!! She loves to be everywhere her humans are. Rubbing and purring often. She adores lounging on/ near by her humans. She does not do well with other pets or small children! She likes to be the only baby. She gives the best snuggles at night. We took her in on April 29th 2020 and treated her for fleas, then mange, then being pregnant with 6 kittens. She was 2-3 years old then and had already had two sad litters previously. The previous owner did not know to give her kitten food and she lost one of two with each previous litter. Her last 6 were healthy and now are happily rehomed. She is now spayed and has her rabies vaccination. Javva loves to play! Anything that moves slowly along the ground or is small is a toy. She would come with a few if her favorite toys. She is more nervous of men, so takes a lot longer to warm up to males. Her previous owner 'thought her scabbing was normal', so she had mange since they found her as a bitty kitten in 2018. Years of misery led to her running out and finding us. She still has skin issues due to being allergic to just about everything. She has come a long way working on that. Cortisone shots and being kept indoors has done wonders. The steroidal shot lasts about 6weeks to sooth her skin. Any fresh outbreak calms after a nice soak and apple cider vinegar rinse. She currently has shoulder skin shots every 10- 30 days for basic allergen tolerance build up. She has less than 10 shots left on her prescription. She already has all of the vials and syringes for them to be administered at home. They help to keep her skin calm and build up resistance to her allergy list little by little. She had 3 vials and is one shot from her last vial now. We have tried several foods for her. She would definitely come with her list of allergies, and the cite of safe foods to try. She has been on her latest food for 3 weeks now with no issue. She has a bag of that left. Needless to say no dropping food near this kitty. She has a tendency to meow/ pace just after everyone has gone to bed. She has abandonment issues. When invited to bed she comes right in and lays down to snuggle calmly. She will probably outgrow that nervous tendency. She used to meow loudly when anyone left the house. She no longer does that. She would always be welcome to come back if she does not fit into her new home. We have 2 cats and a young child she does not get along with, but she can stay until she finds her own forever home. The others just avoid her or I break up any cranky cat behavior from Javva. She is the absolute sweetest to all adults. Her jealous rage falls solely on all other smaller beings. She has had a rough go, a long recovery, and is almost back to having a normal cat life. Now she needs a loving home all her own.
