Substitute and Floater Teachers JOB DESCRIPTION: Floater/Substitute Teacher | $15-20/hr | Paid Daily | 20-40 Hrs/Wk. We are seeking a Floater and/or Substitute Teacher who would like job flexibility The Floater/Substitute Teacher should work with the classroom Lead or Assistant Teacher to maintain a cheerful, organized, and engaging classroom. Flexibility and Understanding of all ages groups is must for this position. If you are subbing for the Lead teacher, the assistant teacher will lead the classroom, you will step into the assistant role. It is important that a substitute and Floater understand Georgia Early Development Standards (aka GELDS) and iCare classroom policies for all the age groups they work with. When arriving each day, review each classroom’s schedule, the day's lesson plan, ask about any individualized student plans, and find ways to help and take initiative. We do train and promote from within, so this is a great way to get your foot in the door! JOB REQUIREMENTS · High School or GED · Must be Cheerful, have an uplifting attitude and confidence. · Ability to be active, lift and move around a lot. · Connect well With Kids & team · Take direction well in a team work setting · Ability to understand Georgia Early Development Standards (We will Train) · Organized, Detail oriented and able to clean throughout the day. · Use Good Judgements when it comes to safety, policies, communication etc. HOW TO APPLY: We can’t wait to meet you and see if we are the right fit for you.
