Hello,
I'm looking to hire an experienced carpenter/handyperson to help me convert a chain-link fence to something more attractive. The first pic is just an example I found online of what I have in mind. The second pic is the actual fence.
I have a very small home and just want to do the 2 sides in the front yard and leave it open at the sidewalk, so about 30 feet on each side plus the part that separates front from back- about 20 feet total. Leaving it at it's current height is just fine.
There is a long portion on one side where the fencing would be redundant (pictured). I'm hoping that you would have a tool to cut through those thick metal posts and simply remove the fencing from that side of the yard. I can send more pics if necessary but I'd rather not post here.
It's important for me to hire someone who has good communication skills and who will do the job right! Please email me with your estimate and/or your experience with this type of work. I'm glad to be your helper. (in which case I can pay you hourly $15-$20 DOE). I'm competent, patient, and strong. However measuring/cutting is not my strong point so it needs to be yours!
Or, if you prefer to bring your own helper that is just fine but know that in this case I'd prefer to NOT pay hourly, so send me your bid.
Thanks and have a great day!
