Description

The Division of Sleep and Circadian Disorders at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking healthy adults ages 18-50 who work the night shift to participate in a short research study. You will complete a phone screening and then come in for a 3-4 hour visit. During the visit you will fill out screening forms and, if eligible, start the study. You will breathe into a special machine using a straw or a mask over your mouth and nose. You will do this several times before and after a rest period (we may allow you to nap). We will also ask you to tell us how sleepy you feel, you may take a performance test on a computer, and we may collect 2 saliva samples from you. The purpose of the study is to see whether the chemicals found in breath change depending on sleep or the time of day. Receive up to $100!
