Tiki Bar Cruises seeks bartenders/first mates and service personnel to serve its 90 minute cruises aboard a 26' tiki bar boat, as up to 12 passengers enjoy the ride on Stamford Harbor. As a bartender/first mate, you will assist our Master Captain with tying and untying the lines, serving the guests their choice of (limited) selected beer, wine, cocktails. You will clean up and dump trash after the cruise to ready for the next cruise. Cruises depart every 2 hours and run between the hours of 10am and 10pm. As a bartender, you can sign up by the cruise or by the day/week. You MUST have reliable transportation, be punctual and able to lift /carry bags of ice, and cases of beer and alcohol. Must be over 18 to serve alcohol and pass a mandatory drug test, and may be subjected to random mandatory drug tests, as per Coast Guard requirements. Bartenders will be restocking and sanitizing between cruises. Bartenders' salary is $25/cruise plus split gratuities with the Captain. Bartending certificate or experience is great, but not required. More important requirement is to be punctual, reliable, and desire to have fun! Service personnel will assist the bartender with picking up/delivering supplies (must be 18 to pick up alcohol) and will be paid $14/hr plus mileage. Reliable vehicle with large trunk space required.
