Original hard rock band needs bassist and drummer

Lansdale PA
Description
Hello! We are an originals hard rock band that practices in the Lansdale/Hatfield area (at least for now) and we are trying to restock our post-pandemic lineup with a drummer and bassist. We have played surrounding states and we will inform you of venues we have played and bands we have shared the stage with but will save that for interested parties. We will be working on an album and shooting some videos but we handle the majority of the work to decrease costs. Generally we use practice time for such things. Generally we ask for an average of one day per week for practices. Any weeks where we have a show we would consider that the one day obligation unless we all decide to do more. We will have 7 of the initial songs in demo form available online tonight or tomorrow for anyone who is interested to hear. Drummer: solid timing (should be a must I'd think) but can also feel things out. Two floor toms if possible. Not a deal breaker but if possible, awesome. Double bass proficiency is rather important. We do not always use double bass but for the parts of songs where it's necessary it becomes really essential. Drum trigger? We do employ some sounds (EG a subdrop) which would be nice if triggered by the drummer or else we will use a backing track. I will be working on a guitar that will let me trigger such effects for my own purposes if not the band. Bassist: Our bass tends to lock in with the drums as the rhythm section but also adds needed low end. As a heads up the majority of our songs are in Drop C (CGCFAD) so either a five string bass or drop tuning a 4 would work. If a 5 string might be easier but you have a 4, I can lend my 5 string bass for the time being. In the past we've never really used effects on bass but wouldn't be against the idea of using some from time to time as long as it fits the song. Both:. We have times we play in-the-pocket and others for certain members to go off. We are sure there are times where we will ask you to push something crazier. But at times we may try to pull you back a bit. Transportation is important. Equipment is essential. We love gear but aren't snobs. As long as you can use what you have and it works for our sound/feel..have at it. We do highly value showmanship for live shows. We strive to sound as tight and killer as we can live but we also place focus on the physical performance. Makes people more apt to come out and see us rather than listen to us at home. We will let it go there for now. Please respond with any questions you may have. Let us know if there is specific info that you want. If you request to listen to the demo tracks we will send the link once they are all up tonight/tomorrow night. Times have been tough. People want and deserve to get out ASAP and we deserve to be playing out for them. Thank you for your time and best of luck to us all no matter how it all plays out!
