Country western dancing has been my #1 recreational activity for more than 30 years now. However, good dance partners are hard to find! Especially now that I am getting older. I spend a lot of my time just standing around when I would rather be out there on that dance floor. Cowboy's has changed now after a year of being locked down due to Covid 19. Most of the old crowd is gone. New people are starting to come out again. I feel sure that more and more people will come out. I have an idea about how I can make myself more known there as someone who can teach. If ladies see me out there on that dance floor teaching someone how to dance, as well as seeing me on that dance floor when I have a good dance partner... looking good out there doing a lot of twists and turns, they will be more receptive to me when I ask them to dance... even though I am getting older. Some of them might even approach me and ask me to teach them. That used to happen a lot back in the day. At one time Cowboy's had a video going on overhead that showed the crowd dancing. Ladies would see me on that video and come ask me to dance. Those were the good old days. I want to recapture some of that and even one good dance partner would be a very welcome addition to my life! How out of shape are you? I am not in the best of shape right now myself. I need more exercise. And dancing is a fun way to do that. Dancing will help us both get in better shape. I am SLIM and stand 5'8" tall. The ideal dance partner for me would also be SLIM and stand about 5'5" to 5'8". If you are way too BIG, too tall or too short it just does not work as well out there on that dance floor. Good or bad, I would love to hear back from you!
