I can't understand these ads

I look at the ads for Yorkies, Maltese or others that size but they are so confusing. The phone numbers are from out-of-state, but it says Knoxville. The ads don't always make sense - as if pasted together from something else. The emails are so confusing with/// and ??? - I don't get it. Are they all scams? Do these folks not want to rehome or what?
