Strange Bassist Looking To Create or Join a Band

Hello, I'm a middle-aged bassist who is not ready to hang it up just yet. Guess what? I don't suck! I'm actually a pretty solid player! I do my homework, show up on time, don't do drugs or drink (not against either, just not at practice/gigs). I won't hit on your lady (or dude, however you roll they're safe) and I won't involve you in any confidence scams (as far as you know). Ever hear of Les Claypool, Flea, Victor Wooten, Steve Harris, Tony Levin, Geddy Lee or Chris Squire? Hell yeah, me too! I can't play most of that. I wish I could but I can't. I'm not really a good singer either. I wish I was but I'm old and wise enough to accept the truth that I shouldn't sing. Remember what I said before, I'm a solid bass player. Enough about me, what do I want? I want to have fun jamming and eventually play out occasionally. Occasionally is less frequent than weekly or bi-weekly or even monthly (maybe monthly if the circumstances are right). I'm not going to quit my day job. Musically, I'll play anything from hard rock to classic rock to yacht rock to some Motown, a little blues and even some new wave. I've got broad interests. By the time you read this I will be fully vaccinated. I'm still not hugging any of you so don't get any ideas. Even so I'll mask up as appropriate. And no mimes! Thank you for your time.
