How to tell a SCAM post

Aren’t you tired of all the scam posts? Well I have been on the look for a puppy and have came to realize who the scams are. First the picture looks distorted in some and typically only one pic Second they have a weird area code nothing Bay Area local Third there are grammatical errors. Meaning will say female and male throughout post. Will be referring to one dog but the post speaks in plural. Fourth they write out the email oddly. Or they say call but when you click to contact you can only email. Last thing when you do text to see if it’s legit they want some type of deposit I offered to come pick up dog at that very moment but still requested deposit first. Hope this helps some because Craigslist is ran through with scammers
