I'm getting the impression my Shih Tzu JRT mix needs a companion. I live in an apartment so there are some restrictions, but hopefully someone can reply with the kind of dog we need. My landlady says the dog has to be under 40lbs and not a Pitbull Terrier. Also since it is an apartment, the less barking the better, but even the puppers I have now occasionally barks, and that is ok. I'd Prefer older over younger so we know the temperament, but if everything else on this list checks out for you, I'll still take a puppy. My dog is male and not fixed. And lastly, I live in Edmond, and can't travel far, so I need you to come here if able. But I will pay for the extra trouble. Now the good news. I walk my dog 3 times a day. I am home basically 100% of the time I am not at work. The dogs will have free run of the house, even on the bed. They will gat their annual physical/shots. I can afford a dog that has extra monthly medical needs as they too high. I will at least send you a text once a year if you want to keep you up to date on how the dog is doing.
