The Republican Party once represented conservatives, now the party represents hate and anger. The Republican Party it rained by extremists who could care less about traditional conservative values. Nearly half of the GOP supports Trump, the other half despises the guy. The Republican Party once represented Christian values but now it represents hate on immigrants and pedophiles. There is no leadership within the party. Mitch McConnell is a doddering of fool who flip flops on every issue. Mitt Romney (the quintessential traditional republican) has abandoned the party. So what do the republicans represent these days? They have no identity. They are no longer unified. Not too long ago the country was divided between the right and the left. Now the extreme division is within the Republican Party. There is no head of the republicans these days. The craziest conservatives speak their voice while the sane ones cower in the shadows without making a peep. The old school Republican Party lays in a smoldering heap. It is long gone. Old school republicans are not signing on tot he new extremist party of hate. If the GOP continues to back Trump, they are sure to die. If they refuse to back Trump, they will struggle to have any significant numbers. Either way, the party is doomed. As an independent voter - this is fascinating to watch.
