65% of Americans identify as Christians. As a Christian, Jesus is your mentor. Would Jesus allow people to suffer and live in misery because of an arbitrary border between Mexico and the U.S.? Would Jesus condone violence and hate? Would Jesus encourage division? How does Jesus feel about racism? Does Jesus love people more or less because of the color of their skin? How does Jesus feel about greed and selfishness? Would Jesus neglect our homeless or our addicted or our mentally ill? How would Jesus feel about the way that we treat each other? Lack of kindness and respect for one another. How would Jesus feel about the way that we treat our planet? The planet that god himself gifted us? The vast majority of Americans have drifted away from Christian values. The Christian church is failing to deliver their message of love. At this current point in time, it appears as though evil is prevailing. You do not need to be a “Christian” to appreciate and adhere to Christian values. EVERY major religion preaches the exact same things. Buddha was teaching these principals for two thousand year before Christ was born. Every human’s nature is kind and loving. We all benefit when we embrace our kind loving selves.
