Looking for kitten to adopt

I’m looking for a kitten to join our family, preferably within an hour of Roxbury NJ. We have one cat who’s 10, he’s neutered and aside from being on prescription food for flutd he’s pretty healthy and active. We feel like maybe he needs a friend and we would like to adopt a young kitten. We have 3 kids, own our home, and someone is always home. I work nights at a vet hospital so vet care is not an issue. I’m aware that I could go to a shelter to get a kitten (and I will if this doesn’t work out) but I thought it might be good if I could save one from going to a shelter in the first place.
