Hello Do you want to learn from scratch, expand on your skills, or revisit music after some time off? I have been teaching from my music studio for over 15 years. I have a music degree from Hunter College and I have also studied music theory, piano and music production at the Juilliard School. If you want to learn guitar we can work on songs, reading, scales, strumming patterns and improvisation. I also teach beginning to intermediate piano. Lessons are designed to fit your specific needs and to give you the tools to understand the essential elements of music, creating interpreting and playing from a score or improvising with chords and melodies. In addition, I can help you to explore songwriting. We can work on all styles of music from pop, blues and rock to classical. I have written and recorded a large number of songs, some of which have been used in TV and movies. I have a band that performs regularly and is featured on radio stations worldwide.
