A family-friend festival day to work, play, & love the Earth! Join us on Saturday April 24 for an all-day community event at the Garden at St. Francis in North Bellmore, NY. Perfect for families and all ages, you'll get to experience gardening and working in the earth as well as fun, environmental activities to help you live more healthily & sustainably! 8:30 - 11:30 am: Volunteer to plant in the organic garden. Help us to get seedlings into the ground! 1:00 - 2:00 pm: Take the Earth Citizen Pledge and get your photo taken at the Polaroid station! Browse the organic eggs, organic honey and plants for sale. Take a stroll through the Labyrinth. Buy some raffle tickets to support ECO, the Earth Citizens Organization (501c3) and win cool prizes! 2:00 pm: Scavenger Hunt! Discover amazing facts about the Earth and our natural environment as you embark on finding clues that will take you through the Garden. Prizes will be awarded for those who complete it! 3:00 pm: Drumming & Drum Circle! Enjoy the rhythm and participate by picking up an instrument yourself! 3:30 pm: Deep Stretching & Nature Meditation! Move and breathe to allow in the healing energy of nature and feel Mother Earth's spirit in your body. 4:00 pm: Raffle Drawings!
