Please read entire post before messaging, thank you! Hi! This is Sundown. He is a Labahoula (Catahoula/Lab mix) He was born Nov 3rd, 2019. He is UTD on all vaccinations and is dewormed regularly, but he is not neutered. He is house, crate, and leash trained. Sundown needs a special person/family. He has anxiety and has since he was a puppy. His vet said he would eventually grow out of it, but as of right now he has not. His anxiety is nothing severe, he has never torn anything up and has never, ever been aggressive. He just wants to be with his person/people. He’s very loving and a pretty low energy boy. He enjoys walks, but he really prefers hanging out on the couch or cuddling in bed with his human(s). He needs a lot of time and patience, so please keep this in mind if you are thinking of adding him to your family. The only reason we are wanting to find him a new family, is because of his (dog) father. We own both of his parents, but Sundowns dad does not like him at all. He makes Sundown very nervous, and since Sundown is so submissive, he won’t take up for himself. Living with us, he can’t thrive and be the dog I know he can be. That being said, Sundown loves other dogs, just not his dad. His best friend is a Great Dane, and he’s been around all kinds of dogs and he’s always been wonderful with them. He was around a cat when he was younger and always did great with her, but i’m not sure how he would do around a cat now. Sundown would do great with a male or female dog(s) that is also submissive, or he’d even do great as an only dog. I personally think he would also do great in apartment living since he isn’t very high energy. We love him very much and have had him since he was born, so we will be pretty picky with who he goes to and will not give him to just anyone.
