Join EEC in making Edgewater clean & green this Earth Day! Meeting location at the Vedgewater Community Garden at Rosemont & Broadway. Materials will be provided and if you have personal gloves, pickers, bags, etc, please bring your own for increased safety. Masks and distancing required. View all Earth Day & upcoming events here: http://www.sustainedgewater.org/upcoming-events.html Two parts of these neighborhood clean ups: 1) Neighborhood Litter Clean Ups Sign up to be part of the Litter Free Edgewater Block Head Team at http://www.sustainedgewater.org/cleaning-the-neighborhood.html 2) Vedgewater Community Garden Clean Up Tasks include: trash pick upcutting down, bagging up weeds and overgrowthorganizing communication stationcleaning tools and watering cansconnecting hoses, water troughs, rain barrelsreplacing wood on broken plots (if you have a battery operated drill you can bring to use, yes please!)What to bring: Garden or construction gloves (we will have extras handy)Lopers, heavy duty snips, or other favorite garden tools (we'll have some, too)Water to drinkWear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, layers are good
