Reservations for the Museum of Durham History The Museum of Durham History is excited to re-open its doors to the public as it debuts its newest exhibit "From Tobacco Market to Innovation Hub: Durham's Central Park Neighborhood." On Friday April 16th, we begin a day-long celebration of our re-opening and the exhibit’s launch, complete with special giveaways, that continues all day Saturday. To help ensure the health and safety of our guests, Museum visitors are asked to make a reservation prior to their arrival. Due to the Museum's small space, we are limiting visitors to 5 people at a time. Social distancing measures that the Museum has implemented are as follows: Requiring masks to enter the museum, as outlined in Executive Order 163. Hand sanitizer will be made available.Interactive exhibit features will be paused or modified.Protective barriers will be installed at our front desk.Increased frequency of cleaning high touch public areas and restrooms.If you have questions, please call 919-246-9993 or email [email protected].
