Hey fellow players!! 33-year old bass player looking for like minded musicians to jam with. I wish I could tell you that I'm looking to form/join something specific like an Avenged Sevenfold cover band (got my new Schecter bro!!) or maybe an Irish Folk Thrash Metal band that plays only in 7/4 time signatures, but that's not the case. Really just looking for something that makes sense musically, whether it be covers or originals. People are a plus to making things work, so here's a bit about me: EXPERIENCE - Been playing for 18 years now (damn, getting old), only played bass, so no real experience or crossing over on other instruments, strictly a bass player. Love, currently listening to, and have played a ton of genres of music such as Jazz, Blues, Metal, Rock, Pop, Country, etc. GEAR - Ads with photos get more traction, right? Well, maybe that's what I think, so I felt compelled to throw a photo in of the basses. Primary three basses are my 60's Fender Road Worn Jazz Bass, 81' Rickenbacker 4003, and a Lakland Skyline 55-01. Running Ampeg head and 6x10 to move more air when needed, Ashdown 4x10, and various combos. Pedalboard game works for what I need!! Hoping to get involved with something that makes me need to buy more gear to fit what we're doing........but is that so bad? ABOUT ME - Laid back guy, married, full time job, transportation. Can travel for the right opportunity. Can't say I have a practice space, but willing to put in the work to find one if you don't have one. Hoping to find some like minded people to jam and hang with.
