Born in Oakland, CA… E. Clark which is short for Erik Clark grew up as a preachers kid…four brothers no sisters… influenced to pursue his comedic dreams after reading the autobiography of Dick Gregory but first he earned his BA in Sociology from UC Davis. Erik began his foray into stand-up after being laid off from the cutthroat corporate environment. He used the stage to release his anxiety which resulted in him winning the Sacramento Black Comedy Competition. Since sharpening his comedic talents, Erik has become one of the most versatile comedians in the nation; able to entertain in comedy clubs, colleges, churches, cruises and corporate events. Refusing to limit his stand-up routine to the United States, Erik has performed internationally. Recently, he completed a USO Tour of Korea and Japan providing humor to the troops being deployed. Erik is a favorite at many of the top comedy clubs, he has also appeared on the television show Funny is Funny on SíTV, Off The Chain on Bounce TV, the feature film “The Difference” and is the founder of the “Kappa Komedy Tour” and “Comedy for the Soul”.
