Forest ReLeaf of Missouri is excited to host our Annual Concert in the Trees at CommuniTree Gardens Nursery in Creve Coeur Park. Forest ReLeaf of Missouri is excited to host our Fifth Annual Concert in the Trees featuring The Social Life of Trees Art Stroll on Thursday, May 27, 2021. We have reimagined the concert experience this year with a socially distanced art stroll next our CommuniTree Gardens Nursery located in Creve Coeur Park. While viewing art installations created by local artists touching on such social themes as interconnectedness, reciprocity and beauty, you will be transported beyond words to the very heart of the forest beating all around you thanks to some very talented drummers. Local musician Baba Mike Nelson, an accomplished African drummer and environmentalist, and his crew along with periodic performances from the well-reputed St. Louis Osuwa Taiko drummers will resonate and reverberate around you while you stroll among art installations created by celebrated and new local artists including Eugenia Alexander, Dail Chambers, Aaron McMullin, Ben Bradshaw, Jurni Bayoc and students from Bryan Hill Elementary led by their art teacher Britt Tate-Beaugard. Your ticket includes admission to the live music, the viewing of six art installations, a glimpse of our nursery and arboretum and a gift bag including your choice of an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage, Forest ReLeaf t-shirt, and more! Tickets provide timed entries between 6-7pm and 7-8pm. All proceeds fund our mission to distribute more trees in the region!
