Join A New View Camden, Mighty Writers and poets from the KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy as we celebrate the GRAND OPENING of the Phoenix Festival at A New View Camden with an outdoor poetry slam on International Sculpture Day! Artists Donna Dodson and Andy Moerlein aka The Myth Makers unveil their one of a kind sculpture "The Phoenix Festival" for A New View with this community event featuring local artists whose work is featured as part of the sculpture itself! Mask up and come out to enjoy this beautiful sculpture that doubles as an outdoor theater. Hear poetry from local youth. Add your name to the "Heros Wall" and snap a selfie to help spread awareness about illegal dumping in Camden, NJ. Due to COVID-19 all guests must register in advance for contact tracing purposes.
