Description

Please Help To Beautify A Senior Housing Garden By Planting Flowers 💐. 🥰.. Hello, friends. We are looking for a few people to volunteer for maybe 2 hours (or less) for planting some ‘soon-to-be‘ donated flowers at a Morgan Hill property where senior citizens live. The last time the residents had flowers in the bird bath area of their garden was 2 summers ago; all the other flowers are just typical ones that grow back every year that the landscapers are paid to take care of — they do not plant anything in the garden areas for the tenants. As you can see in the photos, it doesn’t look very cheery there right now... .... so with everyone having come out of a horrible year, we feel that some nice colorful flowers for the residents to be able to see everyday could put a smile on their faces... & ALSO a smile on yours for doing this for them. Several of the residents are over 80 years old and use walkers & scooters... so they don’t get to get off of the property much for going to other places to have a nice time. If you are interested, can really commit, have transportation & have no problem wearing a face mask over both your nose & your mouth, please send us a message asap. Hoping to get this joyful project going by next week Saturday, April 24th depending on how soon the activities director who works at this property can arrange for the flowers, top soil, etc. to be donated. — She will be speaking with the manager of a garden store early next week; the garden store manager is expecting to hear from her. We are asking for everyone who will be helping to please be in good physical condition; the better we can move, the sooner we can finish. ❤️ Thanking you all in advance 🤗 & have a super-nice weekend. The best time to reach us is between 1 pm & 9 pm. at .... (this is a landline &cannot receive text messages) Leon & V. G. Jones
