Sweet 7 yo Golden Retriever mix in need of good home

$25 ADOPTION FEE Elly is a gorgeous 7 yo spayed female Golden Retriever mixed with likely Lab. She weighs 55 lb and has been with us since she was rescued from the street at age 2.5 months. She is up to date on all vaccines and has had a recent pet checkup. She is house trained and knows sit, stay, down, and “nice to meet you.” She loves to be petted but doesn’t lick and will not force herself on you. She is playful but also likes to lounge about a lot. Elly unfortunately does not get along with our other dog. She fights him over food. We have two small children in the house and cannot risk her injuring someone when she fights him. She also barks at other dogs and chases them if she’s not on a leash. She does tend to bark at certain men (unclear who/why), but has never shown aggression toward people. Besides her relationship with our other dog, she is a very sweet and calm animal and would make a lovely companion for someone. Tolerates our young children well. We have NOT seen her interact with indoor cats/small animals, but she does chase stray cats and squirrels, so I would be hesitant to say she gets along with them.
