Is Classic Country Dead

Is there no more call for musicians that play the classic country (and rock, folk, bluegrass) anymore? I've been playing 55 years or so (yes, I'm old and retired from the work force) and these days any time or any place I play the old stuff either people start leaving or they just see the words Classic Country and they don't come. NO, it's not because I suck, I've been told more then a few times I should be in Nashville recording records/albums, oops I mean digital songs I guess these days. Not whining here, just curious to see if other old coots like me have noticed this also, I still play and sing, but just at home. I used to post songs on YT but don't do that now, no reason, I just kinda stopped. MrNormsHGW
