Fifteen year old Male Blue & Gold Macaw. He has a very large vocabulary (you can literally hold a conversation with him), loves showers, and has absolutely stunning feathers. He is a very good boy but needs an owner with large parrot experience. He is not for a first time parrot owner. He can be stubborn, will test you and will try to intimidate you at times but once he realizes that you arent afraid of him or intimidated by him he is a sweetheart. He loves to give kisses! He typically isnt a biter but as with any animal, he can bite. He isnt a regular screamer but as with any large parrot he can get very loud at times. He is a good eater with a healthy appetite: loves a variety. Loves toys to play with, chew and destroy. He also LOVES to shred paper. He has been raised in a home with a dog, cat, and other large parrot. He loves to dance, especially if you dance with him. He also loves music and watching tv. He has never been destructive to anything in our home except for his toys and he is out all the time: he has not had a cage for years, loves to free roam in the house. He loves to be on perches and is content there for hours at a time. He loves looking out windows and sitting in the sun. He may be stubborn and try to be intimidating at times but overall is such a good boy. Due to unforeseen circumstances and no fault of his own, I need find him a new home. He is not in need of being rescued so please dont ask. I will be picky on who he goes to. I will not ship him.
