You asked: “Wtf is that sound!? (Seneca, W11, West Eugene) Someone please tell me what that sound is. This alarm goes off all hours of the night and it rarely stops. I can block it out sometimes but if I sit and listen it is usually still going. Seems louder on Seneca. It can't possibly be one car after another having their alarms go off because it is so consistent! I don't hear it in the day but the day is super noisy around here. Is it from one of the industrial buildings? Am I going mad? Potential answer is “duck flocking mitigation siren”, as much as it pains me to say that... IN THE HOME OF THE DUCKS! I think if you were to go looking you’d find an unmanned automatic siren, behind a locked gate, on a substantially sized property that has an owner bothered by duck flocks. Or, you could be mad. ;)
