We are starting the very difficult process of rehoming our ~8 year old Jack Russell, Charlie. We rescued her from the Charlotte, NC Humane Society 7 years ago and she has been an active fun part of our family since. However, our 9 month old son is now crawling and Charlie has become aggressive towards him. We want to give Charlie the best life possible while keeping our son safe and unfortunately feel that it would be better to find her a new home without children. Below are a few comments regarding her: - Parson Jack Russell Terrier - ~8 years old Female - House trained (does not use a crate when inside) - Loves to go on walks, play ball and snuggle - No medical concerns. Is up to date on all vaccines and has had yearly physicals. Has been fixed. - Takes a little while to get used to new adults but then loves you - Does not have a lot of exposure to children and from what we have seen with our son is quick to react around kids - Does have a history being aggressive towards other dogs (especially smaller submissive dogs). She is ok with larger dogs. I think she would prefer a home without other dogs. If you are interested please email me. I can send pictures and answer any questions.
