Parting Stone is a growing company that has developed a technology to provide an alternative to cremated remains. Families who choose cremation can now receive stone-like "solidified remains" that can be touched, held, and shared. To learn more about us, please visit partingstone.com Orders for solidified remains are increasing rapidly, and we are seeking full-time and part-time contract laborers to help us with order fulfillment. Contract workers are responsible for forming stones and polishing stones but may be asked to assist in other areas of the process. Experience with studio arts is helpful but not required. All individuals (contract or employees) must comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocols as well as all COVID protocols. Everyone must wear a mask while at work, practice social distancing, and follow all work center sanitizing procedures. Parting Stone will provide PPE (personal protective equipment) and training. All contract workers report to the Production Manager. Hours and days are flexible! This is a great option for people who have part-time jobs, have an art practice, or other obligation that is preclusive to a fixed work schedule.
