I am trying to rehome my dog. She is a pointer/possibly weimereiner and roughly 8 years old. She is a very loving dog, she is trained and she loves to be told what to do. Her great downfall is that you need to be either telling her what to do, giving her attention, or she needs to be in a kennel. She cannot be trusted not to eat things that harm her and by this I mean foam, rocks, dirt, etc if she is bored. This has gotten worse since lockdown. She can get muzzles off so that is not a viable option. I want her to have a good life with someone that can provide her what she needs and I am increasingly unable to meet her needs. She is great at running alongside you on a bicycle and is friendly with other dogs, she likes cats once she gets to know them but will chase strange cats (she has never gotten ahold of one though). She doesn't harass my backyard birds or goats. She has been an excellent retriever when I hunted birds and I think she would pick that up again quickly. Free to a good home.
