Small growing family owned company seeking a Fully Covid Vaccinated individual to organize and maintain parts and machine inventory in a 4500 sq ft warehouse and oversee warehouse worker activities. Compensation: $14 - $17/hr DOE with opportunity to grow Employment type: full-time Hours: M-F 9 - 6pm, 1 hr lunch, 2 - 10 min breaks, paid holidays, qtrly company dinner parties Job Purpose:- Manage and control warehouse operation to include reorganizing warehouse inventory, perform complete physical inventory count and establish bi-weekly cycle counts, update and maintain inventory database, oversee and manage all warehouse activities, assist two warehouse workers in pick/pull/pack product, load and unload pallets, assemble, test and disassemble machines. Duties include but are not limited to the following- - Perform initial Physical Inventory, then annual thereafter - Ensure inventory is organized and labeled - Maintaining and updating inventory records. - Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records - Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures. - Labeling and Stocking new and used parts received or disassembled for resale - Inspecting all inbound packaging for evidence of damage - Maintain Will Call section - Processing inbound and outbound orders to include confirming all contents match pick tickets - Performing data entry to enter control numbers into inventory control system - Perform cycle counts and participate in physical inventory process - Receiving orders, picking items, packaging and appropriately labeling for shipment - Manage Pick Tickets Processing - assign tickets to warehouse workers - Assist warehouse workers in their duties when overwhelmed - Ensure warehouse work logs are turned in daily, including yours - Operating warehouse equipment to include pallet jacks, forklift - Ensure the working environment is clean and safe and conforms to any necessary health and safety regulations Qualifications include the following: - Fully Covid Vaccinated - High School Graduate - College experience or degree a plus - Must be proficient with Quickbooks inventory system - Must be proficient with Fed Ex/UPS/DHL online shipping apps - Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word & Outlook) - Organizational Skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize projects - Dependable, trustworthy, and possess work ethics - Minimum 2 years experience in Inventory control - Minimum 2 years experience in managing personnel - Able to stand, walk, lift and reach for parts on racks - Forklift certified a plus - Reliable Transportation / Valid Driver's License - Must be able to lift 50lbs - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Detail Oriented - Able to work in warehouse in summer and winter (large fans available) - Come in as Independent Contractor to start - Must pass a drug and background check - Technical experience a plus - Bi-lingual a plus Employer Expectations: - Strong work ethic - Productivity - Problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Technical skills - Interpersonal skills - Teamwork and collaboration skills How to Apply: If you feel you qualify, please email your resume, phone number to reach you, and a brief description of why you feel you are right for this position.
