New neighbor says "Trump raised our taxes in California, now we had to pay over $12,000 per year for property taxes"! This transplant is clueless and must watch fake news. It was SALT or "state and local taxes" that former President Trump decided to LOWER the DEDUCTION for federal tax deductions. Trump was trying to get the Democrats to lower the Ca. tax rate. Trump did not want the entire nation to pay for the "LOOP HOLES" for the wealthy in California. As we all know Democrats love high taxes. President Biden is CURRENTLY raising taxes to pay for his Trillions in spending. They are like a cancer in our society, plain stupid!
