StopByUs.com has an opening for a Shipping and Receiving Specialist Who we are: We are a growing online retail provider of boat covers, bimini tops, car covers, jet ski covers and other power sports covers. What we need: We are looking for shipping and receiving help. This position is Monday through Friday with occasional weekends. You will be primarily assisting our warehouse team with daily packing, shipping and restocking tasks in our warehouse. You will be required to follow direction and pack shipments per specific requirements. You will also be asked to help organize, stock, clean and move product in our warehouse. You will receive and inspect returned items, repackage items as needed, and be asked to perform some light office duty from time to time. You may also be asked to answer overflow phone calls on occasion to take a message for our office team. You must be willing to learn and take direction well. Our workspace is flexible and while we are willing to train, preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in a warehouse environment. Training about our products will be provided as you will need to have some knowledge of our items. We sell primarily online in various marketplaces. If you have previous experience with online retail platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, or others, and their various shipping requirements, this is a bonus. You must be able to manage your time well and work efficiently under minimal supervision. Our ideal candidate will actively look for ways to proactively solve potential problems, streamline workflow, and maintain safety in the workplace. Requirements: English fluency and comprehension required. Attention to detail is required. You must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, or enough job experience that we would be willing to forgo this requirement. Current forklift certification or ability to pass forklift certification is needed. You must be familiar with how to operate a pallet jack and hand truck. Physical requirements of this position: This is a warehouse position. The warehouse is well ventilated and fan cooled, but it is not climate controlled. You will be on your feet for most of the day and lifting up to 30lbs. You must be able to see and hear reasonably well.
