Newspaper carriers needed ASAP for delivery of the N&O, USA Today, NY Times and many others. This is 6 days a week, no deliveries on Saturday mornings. Additionally no community papers anymore. Papers are picked up from the distribution center in Holly Springs between 1-3 am and delivered to customers. You need your own vehicle (valid registration and insurance required). This isn't the same as running dinner too someone, this is a set route, you follow delivering to customers. Considerations A newspaper delivery position is ideal if you are interested in earning supplemental income. Since deliveries primarily are made early in the morning, you will have ample time for another job. A newspaper delivery job is also ideal for someone attending college. Someone who has overnight childcare, but not daytime. Preferred Qualifications To land a newspaper delivery job, you most have a valid driver’s license. The vehicle you own or use to deliver the newspapers Needs valid registration and insurance. A newspaper delivery driver must be responsible, organized, dependable and have time-management skills. These skills are the most desirable particularly for a newspaper deliverer who must keep records of driving expenses and other delivery information. You can do your route alone, or bring someone to assist you with preparing and delivering papers. You are your own boss,
