Description
Responsible for performing maintenance tasks on building, vehicles, generators, and other assets. Candidate will work under direct supervision to meet repair and project deadlines. Candidate will have a positive and professional attitude as the position will require interaction and training with clients. Essential Job Functions: Systems maintenance to include generator maintenance, HVAC service, hydraulic and pneumatics Vehicle related service and repair items (wheels, hubs, spindles, etc) Repair to structural framing and components (welding) Able to weld using mig/tig machines or willing to learn Cosmetic repairs to interior displays and set elements (finishing work, body work, flooring repairs, etc) Knowledge of various materials and proper application for each (metal, wood, plastics, etc) Troubleshooting electrical systems and controls (includes low voltage components) Inspection, repair and sealing of water leaks Assisting and facilitating general PM for company equipment and vehicles Ability to cut and fit pieces to tight tolerances Must have own tools Attention to detail is a must Ability to take on projects small or large from start to finish Self-motivated Ability to use a variety of shop tools, saws, grinders, air tools etc.… Able to do general labor out of job description when needed Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to: Stand for 8 hours or more Turn the head, neck, and shoulders to both the right and left Use the arms and legs to lift equipment and/or machinery Perform tasks that require adequate manual dexterity Talk and listen Walk Stand Reach above shoulders Stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Climb a ladder and/or steps to work at a height of approximately 13 feet above the ground Work in close/confined spaces Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Specific hearing requirements of this job include ability to listen to telephone conversations as well as face-to-face conversations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud Work beyond a 40-hour workweek is required Equipment and Tools Utilized:
