Description
Responsible for installing and maintaining AV, electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, pneumatic systems in exhibit displays and mobile exhibit vehicles.
Essential Job Functions:
Ability to rough-in electrical and/or pre-install mechanical needs for respective application
Repair, replace and install AV, hydraulic, HVAC, pneumatic systems equipment and systems per project specification
Assembly and installation of various controls and mechanical systems
Troubleshoot and repair controls and systems as needed
Use appropriate tools and testing equipment in order to properly complete a project
Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Must have all personal tools at all times and be able to use and operate hand tools and industrial shop equipment.
Must be detailed oriented
Self-motivated and works without much supervision
Able to work 55+ hours per week when needed
Welding and general fabrication skills a plus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:
Stand for 8 hours or more
Turn the head, neck, and shoulders to both the right and left
Use the arms and legs to lift equipment and/or machinery
Perform tasks that require adequate manual dexterity
Talk and listen
Walk
Stand
Reach above shoulders
Stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl
Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Climb a ladder and/or steps to work at a height of approximately 13 feet above the ground
Work in close/confined spaces
Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Specific hearing requirements of this job include ability to listen to telephone conversations as well as face-to-face conversations.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud
Work beyond a 40-hour workweek is required
