Crusher Operator/Quarry Foreman Overview: Provide support and operational assistance to work crew in the areas of safety, quality control, time management and communication. Supervise operational activities in pit and/or plant production, and plant maintenance. Operates Crusher to move material to proper jobs sites and plant location. Crusher Operator: • Operates Crusher to move materials to proper job sites and plant. • Assist in Heavy Maintenance tasks • Assist in yard Maintenance tasks • Performs other duties as required or assigned • Perform General Plant labor in the stone preparation areas of the plant. • Works closely with superintendent • Must be able to fill in for superintendent Quarry Foreman • Supervise operational activities in pit • Works closely with superintendent • Must be able to fill in for superintendent • Responsible for the daily quarry operations; including but not limited to safety practice, supervision of quarry employees, environmental compliance, meeting MSHA & OSHA requirements Required Abilities • Communicate Effectively: Speak, listen, and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques • Foster Teamwork: Work cooperatively and effectively with others • Physical: Able to walk, bend, lift, push, pull and stand/sit for possible long periods of time. Work under warm/cold weather conditions Position Requirements & Education • High school education preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Must have 1 year experience with heavy equipment with some manual labor • CDL preferred but not required Work Schedule • Full Time • 10-hour days • Overtime Benefits • Medical/Dental/Vison/Life Insurance • Sick Pay • Holiday Pay
