The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) seeks a Park Tech Specialist to keep our parks and athletic facilities looking top-notch! Our parks and fields are essential to the community and are well maintained by our professional employees in the maintenance operations department. The Park Tech Specialist joins a team within the park maintenance department, receiving direct supervision from the Park Maintenance Supervisor and limited supervision from the Park Maintenance Coordinator. Park Tech Specialists exercise lead direction of assigned part-time staff and volunteers. We invite applicants of all abilities and backgrounds to apply and bring their knowledge of landscape maintenance, turf management, and irrigation to our team. Successful applicants will have at least one year of full-time equivalent (40 hours per week for one year) experience in park and athletic facility maintenance, including the operation of commercial landscape equipment and mowers. Total compensation also includes an exceptional benefits package including fully paid family medical and dental care contributions, generous paid time off, and meaningful work.
