Open Positions: 1 Day Shift 1 Swing Shift 1 Graveyard Shift Material Handler/ Warehouse Associate PS Trucking is looking for an experienced Material Handler/Warehouse Associate for our Portland, OR facility. Our ideal candidate has experience operating a forklift more than 55% of the time from previous employment experience. The candidate will also be skilled in all aspects of freight from picking, receiving and outbound. Responsibilities • Perform shipping and receiving duties • Supports shipping, receiving and storage of customer products • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations • May be required to forward a requisition for shipping materials to the Department Supervisor for approval • Train other warehouse personnel • Assist other warehouse personnel with general questions and guidance Skills • Able to perform but not limited to the following tasks, be familiar with and able to interpret packing slips, enter into the computer the correct information, to acknowledge receipt of the goods into the purchase order and processing database • Proficient computer skills • Licensed forklift operator and familiarity with common material handling equipment • Problem solving to resolving inventory, router or packing slip issues • Experience with UPS/FEDEX websites • Able and willing to adapt to a dynamic work environment • Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 10 hours a day • CDL is a plus Shift Hours: Day shift: M-F 7:00am – 3:30pm Swing Shift: M-F 3:00pm – 11:30pm Grave: M-F 10:0PM – 7:00am Salary: DOE Education: HS Diploma or equivalent required.
