Annie is a young (under 6 months) female Syrian hamster. She came to me very thin and in poor living conditions. I’ve spent time getting to know her and getting her healthy and now it is time to find her forever home! Annie is a sweet, active girl. She loves her wheel and will need access to it all night, so she might not house well in a bedroom. Annie has never bitten, is easy to handle, food motivated she takes treats and will come out at the sound of my voice, hoping for pumpkin seeds. If you are looking for a little buddy and have the time to spend with her, she is very curious and highly interactive. Annie is available through Zitch Hamster Rescue in Vancouver (fostered in Hillsboro and transportation to be arranged anywhere in the Metro area). There is an application process, as well as proof of an adequate enclosure. Large bin cages are available to buy through the rescue. Her adoption fee is $10 but will be waived if you purchase a bin cage so that money can be invested directly to her care.
