Climbing Arborist Foreman This Philadelphia area, 50-year-old Tree service company has opportunities as Climbing Arborist. This company is a leader in the Residential and Commercial tree care throughout the Philadelphia area. LOCATION: Philadelphia, PA and surrounding suburbs Duties: • Supervise all aspects of Tree Pruning, Removal, Cabling & Bracing by working as both second climber and ground crew • Operate Chippers, Trucks, Aerial Lifts, stump grinders or special equipment • Participate in job-site Hazards, Obstacles, Plan, Equipment (H.O.P.E) process • Maintain issued climbing gear, chainsaw, and shared crew equipment as directed by Foreman • Learn/understand insect & disease life cycles, and plant biology QUALIFICATIONS: • Valid Driver’s License required. A CDL Class B (Commercial Driver's License) or ability to attain preferred. • Ability to satisfactorily perform Grounds person duties • Demonstrate proficiency: Climbing trees with Closed or Open Climbing System • Pruning to ANSI A300 standards. • Operating chippers and chainsaws Great pay and professional growth opportunities!
