Palmetto Outdoor is South Carolina's largest tube, kayak and tour outfitter. Established in 2006, Palmetto Outdoor's goal is to get children outside and away from Internet and video games. Various trips are offered including guided kayaking trips in Congaree National Park and tubing rentals on the Saluda River. Palmetto Outdoor is looking for drivers. Basic duties include driving shuttle buses, loading/unloading equipment and guests, administering trip instructions and equipment, collecting equipment after trips are completed, etc. This is a position for someone who likes to be outside and can handle heavy equipment (tubes, kayaks, canoes). Applicants must have customer service experience and open availability including weekends and major holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day). ***Applicants must have a license and a clean driving record.*** Experience with driving trucks, backing up trailers, and owning a pickup truck is highly preferred.
