The Night Auditor will oversee the workforce to assure proper case selection is being accomplished on a daily basis. RELATIONSHIPS This position reports to the Night Shift Manager and works closely with other members of the Warehouse and Operations teams. This position interacts with members of other internal business units as needed and maintains positive business relationship with both internal and external customers and vendors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES • With the direction of Management, oversees the workforce to assure proper case selection is being accomplished on a daily basis • Keeps Manager informed both verbally and in writing of issues within assigned area of responsibility • Ensures loads are properly assembled, all cases properly tagged and pallets are wrapped when necessary • Monitors the loading process to ensure accuracy for each outbound load • Maintains necessary reports and records all discrepancies on a timely basis • Stays aware of safety and sanitation conditions and advises Management to take corrective action when necessary • Maintains a watchful eye to protect the physical assets of the company • Escalates issues beyond scope of authority to Management as needed • Performs other duties as assigned
