This is no desk job. As a Warehouse Technician your days will be active, preparing machines for delivery and installation. You’ll have a steady work schedule, and an opportunity to learn new skills that will help you advance your success in your career and life. As a Warehouse Technician, you’ll be an important part of what works. You will be responsible for preparing equipment for delivery to customers and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. • Prepare equipment for delivery to customers based on the daily scheduler (includes but is not limited to unpacking, installing, testing, preparing, and assembling required parts prior to loading on trucks, when necessary) • Load and unload delivery trucks using 2-wheeled hand cart and/or forklift to move equipment • Strip used parts from retired machines • Utilize mechanical and electrical abilities to work on equipment. This may include the building or rebuilding of machines. • Provide back-up and support to Installers and Service Technicians as needed • Process warehouse transactions in proper systems • Maintain inventory of machines, accessories, etc • Conduct monthly inventory checks and perform full quarterly inventory • Provide back-up and support to Installers and Service Technicians as needed A Warehouse Technicians’ shift is typically Monday through Friday, so most evenings and weekends are yours to enjoy life’s moments that matter. Our core values are a part of what differentiates us as Best in Class. • Safety Awareness • Customer Focus • Integrity, Trust, & Respect • Drives Engagement • Teamwork & Collaboration • Follows Through on Commitments In this role, you’ll need: • High School Diploma or equivalent; and 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Ability to read, interpret and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Maintain valid forklift certification per local government regulation and company policy • Experience with power and hand tools • Mechanical aptitude, and technical experience; specific experience with washers and dryers and/or electrical, plumbing, gas fitting, and venting is ideal. • Computer and smart phone skills • Specific physical demands may vary based on assigned geography or equipment • Must be able to lift up to 35-100 pounds and will frequently work in a variety of environmental conditions (both weather and non-weather related) • Push and pull hand carts loaded with washers and/or dryers and/or air machines • Ability to walk numerous levels of stairs • Ability to maneuver in restrictive areas; often squatting, kneeling, crawling and reaching overhead, while lifting, holding and maneuvering tools or service parts weighing from 20-50 lbs.
