We are an established Residential Construction company seeking skilled carpenters to join our A-Team. We have several large jobs lined up for the coming year, so we will keep you busy. We are looking for Positive Personalities with great communication skills. Must have own tools, vehicle, and smartphone (no exceptions) Job Qualifications: Positive Attitude & Integrity!!!!! Ability to see the big picture. Skill in accessing issues and making decisions and communicating/implementing the decisions quickly. Knowledge of construction means, methods, and engineering techniques as it relates to the products and services the Company provides. Ability to comply with all work-related deadlines. Skill in having the vision to see the project through completion, through the eyes of the Owner'before the project is even started. Ability to communicate effectively with management staff, company project staff, vendors, contractors, and project Owners on any issues/problems related to the project. Skill in listening, problem-solving, and running effective meetings with the ability to be open-minded. Ability to resolve major issues without laying blame. Ability to develop win-win scenarios and bring final resolution to issues and problems. Knowledge of product costs, labor costs, and associated time frame essential to developing cost-effective project budgets. Ability to use written and verbal communication effectively. Reading Writing & Arithmetic Mandatory. Ability to perform the roles and duties of all staff direct reports. Ability to see other perspectives with regards to their concerns. Ability to remain calm and professional during peak periods of activities. Ability to work daily and extended hours as necessary continue Ability to assist in other work-related areas as necessary Ability to recognize when assistance is needed and not afraid to hit the panic button" Must be able to: -Follow blueprints, CAD Drawings, and building plans to meet the needs of clients -Keep a clean job site-Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials -Capable of High-Quality Finishing, including Cabinetry, trim work, drywall, and painting. -Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures -Instruct and direct Apprentice, laborers, Subcontractors, and other construction helpers -Take pride in what you build! Must have at least 8-10 years of experience + Must be able to work alone if necessary (Safely) Efficiency, punctuality, and honesty a requirement. Projects are Island Wide!!
