Base Yard Worker (Kauai) Service Rentals and Supplies Inc. is looking for a Full-time Yard Worker to help customers with equipment and parts pick up and returns, orientate customers to misc. equipment, and light equipment maintenance work (oil changes, tire pressure checks, etc.) Must be dependable, friendly, and hard working. Company is willing to train on wide range of equipment (e.g. air compressors, lifts, generators, etc.) Work Hours: Mon. to Fri. shift work (8 hours/day) between 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Minimum qualifications: - Must have valid Driver License - High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) - 2 years experience working with customers (i.e. food service, retail, etc.) or 1 year construction or landscaping experience - Must pass drug screening - Must be able to learn to drive truck and trailer, forklifts and aerial lifts. Company willing to train. Physical Demands: Frequent moving when greeting customers, equipment orientations, loading and unloading equipment. Occasional lifting up to 90 lbs. (Breakers). Carrying up to 35 lbs. Push/pulling up to 100 lbs. occasional (light towers, compressors, etc.). Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, etc. to prep equipment or check equipment controls close to the ground and performing light maintenance work.
