Aloha we are a couple who are unemployed due to COVID- he works as tech support in Kauai County schools, she as a caregiver for elderly/ dementia/hospice patients, both college graduates and long-time Kauai residents, and hard workers who never thought we’d find ourselves houseless. We are looking to rent a small spot in which to park our camper van for 2-3 months while we find a new home to rent. We have a place to shower, do laundry, and cook once a day but need somewhere to park the rest of the time/overnight. We are clean, quiet, respectful, and don’t ‘party’... we spend most of our time reading, crafting, streaming movies and working online. We have been staying in the same spot since January, and can provide a positive reference from the current landowner/landlord, who is about to start construction. We are happy to pay a modest rent, and can provide security, do yard work/landscaping, general maintenance, and/or whatever else you might be interested in as a trade. We can promise that we’ll leave the spot in the same or better condition than we find it.
