Looking for employment asap

My husband and I are homeless, not of our own volition, he lost his job due to seasonal ending, and we lost our room because we could no longer pay, we are both drug/drama free, college educated, non drinkers, looking for any kind of job to get us off the street. Not asking for hand outs, we just need a chance, we have barely been able to eat, we are sleeping by a bridge...its so embarrassing to post this, but we don't know what else to do. Shelters will not take us because we are not on drugs (they help people addicted) or won't help because they are full or closed due to covid. We have called every place in brevard and have gotten the same answers "I'll give you a number for another place that may be able to help" we are both looking for honest work so we can at least get into a hotel. Please let me know if you know of anyone looking for someone to help with jobs. Thank you
